Air Duct and Wind Walkthrough — Moldwasher

This Moldwasher walkthrough page covers air duct missions using wind direction to move rice balls and loose objects. Wind physics confuse players who spray instead of positioning objects for airflow. Use the steps below alongside our Tools section when a mission requires equipment you have not yet unlocked.

Understanding Wind Mechanics

Air duct levels feature directional wind that pushes loose objects—rice balls, debris, and movable parts—across the play area. Your goal is positioning objects so wind carries them off the route or into collection zones, not washing them in place.

The leaf blower remains your primary tool for fine position adjustments. The pickaxe breaks blocking chunks that prevent objects from entering airflow paths. The pressure washer cleans mold residue after objects move correctly.

Positioning Strategy

  1. Survey wind direction before acting—note arrow indicators or object drift patterns
  2. Break hard blockages with pickaxe if objects cannot reach airflow
  3. Use leaf blower to nudge objects into wind paths from advantageous angles
  4. Let wind carry objects toward targets rather than forcing direct pushes against wind
  5. Clean remaining mold with washer after object movement objectives complete

Fighting wind direction directly wastes time. Move to the upwind side and push objects into the stream so physics works with you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I wash rice balls instead of moving them?

No. Rice balls in air duct missions are movement objectives requiring blower positioning, not washing.

Which tool do I use first?

Pickaxe if hard chunks block paths, otherwise blower for initial positioning.

How do I read wind direction?

Watch object drift when idle or look for environmental wind indicators in the duct layout.
