Early Game Walkthrough — Moldwasher

This Moldwasher walkthrough page covers the opening home room through your first fridge missions. New players often rush the map before cleaning home shelf objects, missing the first coin and collectible that teach later pickup mechanics. Use the steps below alongside our Tools section when a mission requires equipment you have not yet unlocked.

Opening Room Steps

Spray the front door with left-click wide spray until it opens
Enter the home hub and clean every small object on shelves and floor
Pick up the first coin and collectible that appear after cleaning
Interact with the map to unlock mission select

Skipping home objects does not block progress but teaches how hidden pickups work. Collectibles beneath mold in later missions use the same logic—clean thoroughly before leaving any area.

First Fridge Missions

Select the earliest fridge mission from the map. Required tool shows the pressure washer icon—your only equipment at this stage. Use wide spray for open mold patches and right-click precise stream for edges and small leftover spots.

After completion, read the results screen. Note FreshCash earned and any hidden drop counter. If hidden drops show 0/1, replay immediately before advancing. Early optional mold cleaning pays bonus cash for your first shop upgrade.

Upgrade pressure and radius on the starter washer before saving for the leaf blower. One or two washer upgrades make early jobs faster without delaying critical tool unlocks. Details in our Upgrade Order guide.

Transition to Mid Early-Game

After three to five fridge missions, the lo-fi system reward appears at home. Clean it to start the CD collection loop. The garage may unlock—visit it even if main missions feel affordable, because toy batches teach the money farming loop you will rely on later.

Continue to Fridge Missions when sticker and fly mission icons appear on the map. Those missions introduce precise stream importance and moving hazard control.
